Austin business trial lawyer John R. McConnell has been practicing law since 2006. John represents businesses and entrepreneurs in make-or-break, do-or-die, and bet-the-company litigation. He is dedicated to ensuring that parties to contracts abide by their agreements and that there is fair play in the marketplace.
John enjoys representing plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, deceptive trade practices, negligence, and securities fraud. John grew up in Austin where he currently resides. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002, and received his J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law in 2005. He lives in South Austin with his wife, two children, three dogs, and a cat. In his free time, he enjoys improv, playing the drums, running, meditating, and reading about physics and consciousness. Fun facts: he played drums in a popular 90's cover band and has photographed hundreds of weddings as a professional photographer.
